Brunton Int'l Pocket Transit Model 5005 featuring 360 degrees azimuth markings, and a magnetically dampened needle.
Condition
The compass appropriately points north/south and moves freely with no signs of any issues. This model 5005 features quadrants for azimuth , the needle is dampened with a strong magnet and has markings that make it appropriate for international use. One rare feature of the 5005 is that it doesn’t use a lift mechanism on the needle..  Authentic Brunton Leather holster with belt loop is included. Holster is made of genuine 1/8" thick leather with some small scuffs that give a rugged character. The leather is still pliable with no signs of dry rot, mold, or degradation at all.
