Offered is a complete set of (8) deluxe 11" x 14" lobby cards from the 1981 horror classic
HALLOWEEN II
, the original direct sequel to John Carpenter's 1978 masterpiece of suspense that ushered in a whole new sub-genre of "slasher" films that are as popular today as they were 43 years ago! Both Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence returned to their signature roles of Laurie Strode and Dr. Sam Loomis, while John Carpenter and Debra Hill returned to write and produce the film with Carpenter once again providing the iconic, bone chilling score!
These original lobby cards were issued directly from the NSS (National Screen Service Corporation) and assigned the number 810159 with the GAU Printer's Union logo present at the bottom. They were sent directly to movie theaters along with other advertising materials such as posters or stills to promote the film during its theatrical engagement. Once the film had finished its run, they were to be returned to the NSS or destroyed.
They were never intended to be circulated among the general public.
These 11" x 14" deluxe original lobby cards
have never been displayed and are in
NEAR MINT/MINT
condition and are
VERY SCARCE!!!
There are no rips or tears, no tape, no pinholes, no staple holes
,
no wrinkling, no creasing and no writing.
The colors are rich and vibrant!!!
The backs of the cards have a light tanning to them which is normal for a set of lobby cards 40 years old.
These cards come from my extensive personal movie memorabilia collection and have been stored flat and boarded in an acid-free printer's proofing box for over 30+ years. They come from a smoke-free, pet-free and climate-controlled environment.
