This is a nice lot of over (13,000) pre-cancel items that offers a nice variety from most all states and there are many, many DIFFERENT with obvious duplication. These would appear to date mostly from the 1920's to the 1950's but there are later issues including a few transportation coils, fractionals, Prominent  Americans, etc.
This nice selection includes mostly loose stamps which are singles, some pairs, coil pairs, blocks of four, multiples, etc. There are quite a few blocks of four. There are multiples of three, pairs, coil pairs, obviously singles, etc. It should be noted that some of these are "stuck" to each other, possibly stuck to paper, old album pages, etc. There is not an overwhelming amount of this "stuck" material but this is mentioned solely for accuracy. See the pictures showing blocks and multiples.
NOTE:
This issue with some "stuck" items will require some "soaking" to increase the collectability. If the process of soaking is not of interest or if it is not something you are aware of ...then perhaps you should not bid.
There are also stamps still mounted on small pieces of old paper, portions of old album pages, etc.
This
lot offers a very nice variety of states and towns. There would appear to be obvious and endless varieties especially when print, perforations, stamp color, shades, types and issues are considered. There are straight edges, perforation faults here and there and centering can certainly vary. There are occasional "cancelled" items, "dateds", a few "locals" here and there but the vast majority are United States Bureau precancels. Many of the blocks appear to be unmounted.
NOTE: Any "stacks" of stamps are not all of the same stamp. This lot offers a nice variety of GUARANTEED 13,000 + stamps.
There are certainly a few small faults here and there and any items with major faults were removed in the once over. This is a nice and clean lot that is virtually all WITHOUT GUM.
This is a nice unresearched lot that is offered as found. It is certainly possible that we have missed a small flaw or fault.
