Here is a 7 ¾” antique TIFFANY FAVRILE pitcher with outstanding iridescence and a horizontal crack midway down the body. On the outside you can’t feel the issue, on viewing it you need to turn it in the light different ways to see the damage - but it is there. When viewed normally, the damage is not noticeable and the impact is impressive – and if placed with the affected area to the backside, it appears perfect. There are no other cracks, chips or flakes, the rim and all else is smooth and unharmed. This is a substantial piece with good weight, button on the pontil and signed fully on the bottom. The colors, purple, green etc etc jump off the iridescent Favrile treatment.
