This is the valve that is operated by the foot pedals in the front and side of the machine Fits on many model Coats®* tire changers. This valve can be in all foot pedals in t
he machine (table top wheel clamping jaw controls, Bead breaking arm control, and on all air machine it controls turntable rotation as well)

NOTE: Coats®* MACHINES CAME WITH TWO DIFFERENT STYLE FOOT PEDAL AIR CONTROL VALVES.
SOME HAD INTERNAL CENTERING SPRINGS AND SOME DID NOT. THIS LISTING IS FOR THE VALVE
WITH
THE CENTERING SPRING. PLEASE READ BELOW TO ASSIST IN DETERMINING IF YOU HAVE A SPRUNG OR NON SPRUNG VALVE BEFORE ORDERING.
STEP 1 -REMOVE THE BAD VALVE FROM THE MACHINE
STEP 2 -PULL THE PLUNGER IN AND OUT OF THE BODY OF THE VALVE.
-IF YOU FEEL RESISTANCE FROM THE PLUNGER AND IT RETURNS BACK TO A CENTERED POSITION WHEN YOU LET GO THEN YOU NEED THIS VALVE!
-IF IT MOVES FREELY WITHOUT RESISTANCE THEN YOU HAVE A
NON SPRING VALVE AND THE VALVE IN THIS LISTING
WILL NOT
WORK
BUT WE DO OFFER THE NON SPRUNG VALVE IN OUR OTHER LISTING ITEM #
